What are Brands in Leadline?

Brands are the candidate-facing identity assigned to your Positions in Leadline. When a candidate lands on your Position, browses your careers page, or receives a communication from your team, what they see — your organization name, logo, and visual identity — is driven by the Brand assigned to that Position.

Every Position in Leadline requires exactly one Brand. Brands consist of two things:

  • Brand Name — the name displayed to candidates on Landing Pages and in all outbound communications
  • Brand Icon — your logo or brand image, which automatically populates link previews when your job postings are shared on social media or via messaging platforms

Why Do Brands Exist?

Brands exist to give your organization full control over the identity candidates experience at every touchpoint — without having to manage it manually for every single job posting.

1. Deliver a Uniform Candidate Experience Across Every Role and Location

For organizations operating across multiple locations, divisions, or franchise units, consistency is everything. A candidate applying to a position at your downtown location should experience the same branded presentation as a candidate applying to a position at your suburban location — same name, same logo, same feel.

With Brands, you assign the right identity to each Position once. From that point forward, every Landing Page, every application confirmation, and every outbound communication automatically reflects the correct Brand — no manual editing, no inconsistencies, no risk of candidates seeing the wrong company name on a job posting.

For franchise organizations in particular, this is transformative. Each franchisee can have their own Brand configured in the platform, ensuring their candidates see their specific brand identity while the franchisor maintains oversight from a single Leadline account.

2. Improve Job Board Integration Stability Through Consistent Data

Job boards — including Indeed — require a clear, consistent employer identity to be associated with every job posting submitted through an integration. When that identity is inconsistent, unclear, or changes frequently, job boards flag postings for review, reduce their visibility, or reject them outright.

Brands solve this by giving each job posting a single, stable, well-defined employer identity that is submitted consistently to job boards every time. This improves posting eligibility, reduces rejected or invisible listings, and ensures your jobs appear exactly where and how you intend them to.

3. Send Personalized, On-Brand Communications at Scale

Every email and SMS message sent through Leadline can use the dynamic placeholder — automatically inserting the correct Brand name for the Position being communicated about. This means you can send mass communications to hundreds of candidates at once while each message still reads as if it came directly from the specific brand that role belongs to.

No generic blasts. No wrong company names. Every message feels personal and on-brand — automatically.

4. Control What Candidates See — Not What Your Legal Entity is Called

Your Organization name in Leadline is your legal employer of record. Your Brand is what candidates actually see. These are intentionally kept separate. This means your internal account structure never bleeds into your candidate-facing experience — candidates only ever see the Brand you choose to show them.

Who Can Manage Brands?

Brands are managed by Company Administrators within the Leadline Admin Hub. Only Company Administrators can create, rename, disable, or delete Brands. Assigning a Brand to a Position can be done by any user with the appropriate Position permissions.

How Are Brands Managed?

Brands are configured in Admin Hub > Organization Information > Brands. From there, Company Administrators can:

  • Create new Brands as your organization grows or adds new locations, divisions, or entities
  • Rename a Brand at any time — changes automatically propagate across all Positions and communications that reference it
  • Set a Default Brand — the Brand that is automatically pre-selected when a new Position is created
  • Disable a Brand to remove it from the dropdown without affecting existing Positions already using it
  • Delete a Brand after reassigning its Positions to a new Brand
  • View all Positions assigned to any Brand with a single click

How Many Brands Can I Have?

By default, new Leadline accounts include one Brand. As your organization grows, additional Brands can be added to your account. If you need more Brands than your current plan includes, contact your Leadline Customer Success representative to discuss your options.
